Board games are perhaps the fastest growing type of game in the Sabres. Previously, there has not been a specific evening on which board games were played, and people would just grab them out of the cupboard whenever they felt like it. Now, however, we set aside some time specifically for board gaming on Wednesday evenings, so if you feel like coming down and getting your game on, you can be guaranteed to play something!

As well as Wednesday evenings, we regularly play board games at Gaming Sundays, and there is also the annual twenty-four hour charity board games social, which raises money for charities in association with RAG.

In the Cupboard

The Leicester Sabres own a collection of board games for our members to play. These games are free for members to use, but please do make sure that you return them as you found them, complete with all the pieces, as we have lost a couple of games to people not putting them back afterwards! If you’d like to borrow one of these board games, please get in touch with Mark.
